Publishing Research with UM or External Journals

If the final product of your project is a paper or manuscript, you may consider submitting it to a journal for publication. Depending on the quality and significance of your work, your faculty mentor may suggest submitting your manuscript to a discipline-specific journal.

Before submitting your work, be sure to talk through your publication plans with your faculty mentor and have them review your work.

Remember that the Writing and Public Speaking Center offers services for writers!
