IPE Opportunities and Events

IPHARM

The IPHARM program is a federally funded clinical training initiative that conducts geriatric health screenings throughout Montana. Students from the University of Montana's pharmacy, physical therapy, social work, nursing, medicine, and a variety of other health professions, work together to provide the following screenings and counseling:

  • Bone Density
  • Blood Pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Hemoglobin A1c
  • Balance Testing
  • Memory and Depression Screening

Family Medical Conference (FMC)

Friday Medical Conference (FMC) is a weekly 'Grand Rounds' style lecture series proving a cross-section of recent advances in medicine along with clinical etiology, diagnosis, and management information.  These events provide a rich opportunity for students to interact and learn from practitioners from other disciplines.
