Tom Snyder is the founder and owner of Five on Black Brazilian Grill. He is responsible for the thousands of different cogs coming together to create one simple thing; providing a community with fresh, fast, affordable, and delicious food. Tom Started Five on Black 3 1/2 years ago, after graduating from the University of Montana with a degree in Finance, and has since grown to five locations, 100 staff members, and served over half a million customers.

Todd Frank grew up in Billings with parents who both attended UM in the 1950’s and owned successful retail businesses. Not wanting to follow in the grind of retail, Todd got a degree in Geology from UM in 1984. Geology was a good summer job, but to pay bills in the winter Todd worked in ski shops in Missoula and Whitefish before moving back to Missoula to manage the Trail Head in 1994. In 2000, Todd bought the Trail Head. He transitioned the business from a time when consumers had to shop at the store for particular brands, to a time where the Internet made everything available 24/7, requiring a different approach to customer service and the entire shopping experience. The Trail Head celebrated 42 years in business this summer and has been voted one of the top 100 outdoor stores in America the last several years.
