IMPROVED COST EFFICIENCY
Traditional billing methods for student tuition and fees are a thing of the past, replaced by an online billing system that will save the University about $50,000 a year. Business Services eliminated monthly paper bills sent through the mail and instead sends e-mail statements to students’ accounts. The new system goes hand in hand with another new feature that allows students to pay their bills online using checks or credit cards.

RECOVERING FROM A DEFICIT
President George Dennison implemented a plan to eliminate a nearly $1 million deficit in the athletics budget and prevent any reoccurrences of shortfalls. The state Board of Regents approved his plan to control expenditures and increase ticket prices, concessions, royalties, student fees and institutional funds. The additional fee revenue and other funds will prevent any future deficit.
