Personal Summary
Kersey is a recent graduate from the University of Montana with Summa Cum Laude distinction in Political Science / International Relations. She has worked with the Mansfield Center on the Student Advisory Council and served as the Social Media Coordinator Intern. She has also completed internships with the Montana World Affairs Council and UM's Global Engagement Office. Over her three years at UM, she was an ambassador for the Davidson Honors College, a member of the International Development Studies Club, a student with the Global Leadership Initiative, and a Model United Nations delegate. Coming from a rural background, Kersey is passionate about promoting open dialogue and making global education accessible. She has traveled to twenty-five countries, attended a year-long study exchange at Universiteit Leiden in the Netherlands, and participated in two foreign government exchanges - the Mosaic Taiwan Fellowship Program and the Kakehashi Project. She is also an avid skier, backpacker, and painter.
