Personal Summary

Tyson is the Program Officer for Democracy Youth Engagement. Tyson has taught for over a dozen years at the middle and high school levels in Kalispell and Missoula.

At the Mansfield Center, Tyson works to integrate youth into our democracy through an urban-rural exchange program, a state and local government course for Montana's young emerging leaders, and Innovatehs, a democracy summit at the University of Montana. He also works in partnership with University of Montana professors to provide teacher training in order to foster the knowledge and skills to develop young civic leaders.

Hobbies

Outside the Mansfield Center, Tyson enjoys hiking, hunting, skiing, and fishing - especially with his wife and two boys.
