William McCaig

Inkwell thumbnail William McCaig served several managerial positions at W.R. Grace from the early 1970s to the mid 1990s.  According to the federal indictment, McCaig was the maintenance engineer at the Libby mine from 1971 until 1975. In 1976, McCaig became the maintenance superintendent at the mine.  In 1979, he was promoted to general manager of operations.

McCaig left Montana in 1988 to accept the position of manufacturing manager of specialty vermiculite at the Commercial Product Development business unit in Enroee, S.C.. In 1995, McCaig retired from work at W.R. Grace.
