June 2009
Hooked on Walter Hook will open on June 3 with a reception on June 5. Recap of Carmen Bria visit. MMAC holds a workshop for gifted ed students in grades 2-5.

May 2009
Permanent Collection exhibitions close on May 16. Expert conservator, Carmen Bria, will speak on May 11. Gibson exhibition will open at Daly Mansion on Mother's Day.

April 2009
Campus Picks and the Fra Dana Collection on view all month. Campus Picks panel discussion scheduled for April 23. Read two essays written by Campus Picks participants. MMAC's long-time conservator will visit next month and give talk.

March 2009
Two new exhibitions open on March 17 including Campus Picks, featuring artworks from the Permanent Collection sellected by the Campus community. Also on display are Permanent Collection works by Fra Dana that have been recently conserved. Opening reception this month.

February 2009
MMAC holds special public screening of the film, The Rape of Europa. Native American exhibitions continue. Miscellaneous updates regarding conservation and traveling exhibitions.

January 2009
Two Native American exhibitions open at MMAC. Opening reception on January 15. Retired professors to give gallery talk on January 22. Interview with Professor Emeritus of anthropology from UM, Dr. Tom Foor.

December 2008
Modernist exhibitions close on December 12. An interview with MMAC donors, Drs. Edwin and Janet House.

November 2008
Two Modernist exhibitions open this month, both feature work from the Permanent Collection. Lela Autio to give a related talk on November 13.

October 2008
Two Asian shows on view through October 25 - Weaving Cultures...the Helen Cappadocia Collection of Southeast Asian Textiles and notions... by Steven Young Lee. Two related events happening this month. The Original Man exhibition continues at the Holter Museum of Art through October 18.
