Sherry Liikala to Present at Last Lecture Series

MISSOULA – What information would you share with the public if you had one last-hour lecture? That’s what University of Montana College of Business management and marketing lecturer, Sherry Liikala, considered when asked to present at the upcoming Mortar Board’s Last Lecture Series at UM in April.

Liikala will give her one-hour lecture, entitled “The Paradigm Shift in Leadership,” on April 19 in the ALI Auditorium, located in the Phyllis J. Washington College of Education Building. Doors open at 6 p.m. and light refreshments will be provided before the lecture begins at 6:30 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Mortar Board is a national honor society that recognizes college seniors for distinguished ability and achievement in scholarship, leadership and service. UM’s Pentralia chapter, established in 1927, comprises 40 students who are selected by the previous year’s members based on their academic leadership and service histories. In addition to organizing the annual Last Lecture Series and UM’s Professor of the Month and Senior Recognition awards, society members participate in local and national service projects.
