2023 UM College of Business Outstanding Alum, Maggie Gleason

MISSOULA – The University of Montana College of Business will recognize Maggie Gleason for her exceptional career achievements during its fall Business Advisory Council (BAC) Meetings. Gleason will be honored as the 2023 UM College of Business Outstanding Alum following the BAC Meeting on Sept. 29 at 3:30 p.m. in the Gianchetta Piazza of the Gallagher Business Building. The event is free and open to the public.

The college has named outstanding alumni since 1990 and has celebrated graduates such as IBM executive Mary Olson, former D.A. Davidson chair Ian Davidson, KPMG audit partner Kayreen Handley, and most recently Providence Regional Chief Quality Officer for the Puget Sound Region Karin Larson-Pollok. 

Maggie Gleason ‘02

Maggie is a Partner at FAST Enterprises, a leading provider of government software and consulting services. She joined the company in 2002 as a Software Developer and held positions as Software Architect and Project Manager within FAST before being promoted to Partner.

The Boise, Idaho native graduated from UM with a degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems.

At UM, Maggie was a Student Advocate, a member of the varsity Women’s Golf Team and a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.

Maggie has remained connected to the University of Montana and College of Business, having served on the Business Advisory Council, Management Information Systems Advisory Board, and is now an active University of Montana Foundation Trustee. Maggie is also a sought-after guest lecturer at the College of Business.

Maggie and her husband, James (UM College of Business, ’00), established the James and Maggie Gleason Scholarship in the College of Business, which provides scholarships to students majoring in management information systems; and the James and Maggie Gleason Faculty Fellowship. They have also supported the Fast Enterprises Alumni MIS Scholarship.

Maggie and James live with their two children in Salem, Oregon.
