MT Emergency Cardiovascular Care Symposium

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services - Cardiac Ready Communities Program with support from the Helmsley Charitable Trust, are hosting the 2022 Montana Emergency Cardiovascular Care Symposium (MT ECCS) in person, the evening of Friday, May 20 (directly following the Rocky Mountain Stroke Conference), and all day Saturday, May 21 at the Best Western Plus GranTree Inn, Bozeman, MT. 

Join us for this one and half-day, in-person symposium that will focus on the recognition and treatment of cardiovascular emergency conditions within the context of a system of care. General Sessions will provide an overview of current treatment guidelines and goals, discuss consequences of these conditions, and look to developing a team approach to care. Breakout sessions will be aimed at EMS professionals, nurses, and hospital providers. Topics & agenda to follow.

Target audience: Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, EMS, Pharmacists, Students, Therapists, Stroke/STEMI Coordinators, and other Health Care Professionals.

Continuing Education: The MT ECCS will apply for continuing education credit.  Once the applications have been received and approved, the final CE category hours will be posted on the Continuing Education Approval page.

This day of stroke rehab education is open to all individuals who are involved in the rehab of stroke patients, including staff from inpatient rehab facilities, skilled nursing facilities, critical access hospitals, and outpatient rehab centers. MAY 20th (8am-4:45pm) - Rocky Mountain Stroke Conference (RMSC) - This conference brings together local, state, and national stroke professionals to provide attendees with an exceptional continuing education experience.
