Our colleague, Denise May, Lead Sign Language Interpreter, was chosen as the 2023 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Award recipient for her exceptional contributions to the University of Montana.

Denise’s tireless work as an interpreter, disability advocate, and role model at UM was recognized at the Week of Excellence Employee Celebration Breakfast on May 3, 2023.

The ADA Award honors UM faculty and staff whose contributions advance education and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
