University of Montana Career Days is a dynamic and inclusive series designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to kickstart their professional journeys. This multifaceted event series strives to unite students from diverse academic backgrounds under a common banner of career development and community engagement. Whether you're an art major, a budding scientist, or an emerging leader looking for ways to help your community Career Days has an event for you. Here is a list of exciting events we are hosting this semester!

  • Get Sweet on You Career: Strong Interest Inventory Assessment Workshop
    Give yourself the treat of a fulfilling future this Valentines Day (well, one day after), and join us for a STRONG Interest Inventory Workshop on February 15, 2024! This event is all about finding the perfect career path for you. During this workshop we’ll help you to match your interests and personal style to a meaningful career and academic journey.   • BioTech Career Expo
    The UM BioTech Career Expo will introduce students to Montana employers and help you understand the specific steps you can take, and what skills are needed, to get from where you are into a great internship, research position, or job in BioTech.More information on GrizHub.
  • Business Career Expo
    Join us for the Business Career Expo on March 5, 2024, from 3 pm to 5 pm, in the Gallagher Business Building Main Lobby. This event is not just about networking; it's your gateway to a world of possibilities! Whether you're a budding entrepreneur, an aspiring accountant, or a future marketing guru, this expo is tailor-made to fuel your professional dreams.
  • Lunch and Learn with the FBI
    Join us for an exhilarating lunchtime experience at our FBI Lunch and Learn event on March 5, 2024, from 12 pm to 1 pm in the 2nd Floor Study Lounge in the LA Building. At this event, the FBI team will be shedding light on the ins and outs of the department, the application process, as well as their current job openings, so you won't want to miss out. Bring you lunch and an appetite for knowledge as we get a glimpse into the world of criminal investigation. 
  • Spring Leadership Luncheon
    Join women in leadership on campus and in the community for guided mentorship and networking.  Lunch is provided and two attendees will be awarded $250 scholarships.This is your chance to connect with accomplished leaders from various fields, gain valuable insights into leadership, and network with like-minded peers.   • Alternative Spring Break in Seattle

  • Hire Griz! Spring Career Fair
    The Experiential Learning and Career Success Center invites you to the University of Montana Hire Griz Spring Career Fair on Thursday, March 28th, 2024! This is a great opportunity for students and employers to connect about full-time professional career opportunities in all industries.
  • Cyber Security Challenge and Networking Event
    Join us for the University of Montana Missoula College Spring Cyber Challenge and the 2nd Annual Cyber, IT, and CS Career Networking Event on Friday, April 12, 2024. This event fosters valuable in-person networking between Missoula College and University of Montana Mountain Campus students and local businesses with workforce recruitment needs. Registration link to come!
