Join the Pack: Volunteer for the Wild Walk Parade!

The Wild Walk Parade, a highlight of the International Wildlife Film Festival (IWFF), beckons Missoulians of all ages to join in a vibrant display of unity and creativity. This year, the parade is not just an opportunity to witness the spectacle but to be an integral part of it. We are calling on 30 spirited individuals to lend their time and energy to make this parade a success.

What's Happening?

On Saturday, April 20th, downtown Missoula will transform into a bustling parade ground for the wildest at heart. From 10:30 a.m. to around 12:30 p.m., the streets will come alive with a procession of participants dressed in their finest animal costumes, embodying the spirit of the wild creatures we share our planet with. This is where you come in. We need volunteers to help set up, tear down, and direct this wonderful procession down Higgins Ave.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at the Wild Walk Parade is a chance to contribute to something larger than yourself. It's about making a difference, fostering a sense of community, and having a lot of fun along the way. But that's not all; volunteers are encouraged to dress up as their favorite flora or fauna, adding to the parade's vibrancy and color.

Moreover, each volunteer will receive a FREE movie screening pass for their service. It's our way of saying thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You'll get to enjoy the best of what IWFF has to offer, soaking in stories of wildlife and conservation from around the globe.

Where and When?

The adventure begins at the First Interstate Bank located at 101 E Front St., where volunteers will gather at 10:30 a.m. before setting off. From there, the parade will weave its way through the streets, a spectacle of community and creativity, before concluding around 12:30 p.m.

Are you ready to join the pack? Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or looking for a new way to connect with your community, this is a perfect opportunity.
