Hannah Hall

School Psychology PhD Student

Personal Summary

Hi! I am Hannah, and I am a first-year doctoral student in the School Psychology program. I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and just recently moved to Missoula from Arizona. I am excited to be a member of Dr. Jacqueline Brown's GRAY Lab (Grief & Resilience Among Youth). Prior to starting the program, I was an elementary teacher in southwest Colorado and Arizona. After being in the classroom as a teacher, I've become passionate about supporting the mental health and social-emotional needs of students, their families, and teachers. I am interested in crisis intervention and learning more about how school systems can better support and respond to the needs of students with behavioral disorders and those who have experienced significant childhood trauma. I am grateful for the opportunity to join the GRAY Lab and the school psychology community at UM.
