History Department Celebrates Release of Claire Arcenas' Book, America's Philosopher
Spring 2023 Newsletter Feature
This April, the History Department and Humanities Institute hosted a book release celebration for Professor Claire Arcenas's new book, America's Philosopher: John Locke in American Intellectual Life.
Students, community members, History alumni, staff, and faculty from across the University had a chance to hear from Claire about her research, ask questions about John Locke's past and present influence in the United States, and celebrate over good food and drink.
If you missed the event and would like to hear Claire talk about her work, you can watch an interview with her or listen to a podcast episode about her book.
