The Food Sovereignty Scholarship

A Food Sovereignty Scholarship is available for an Indigenous graduate student in Environmental Studies at University of Montana.

Award of the scholarship requires admission to the Environmental Studies Masters of Science program.

  • Apply by Jan. 15, 2023
  • Indicate interest in your admission application (essay #3).
  • Preference may be given to enrolled members of an American Indian tribe.

Indigenous students may also be eligible to apply for additional scholarship opportunities, such as the Sloan Indigenous Graduate Partnership and/or a Teaching Assistantship. The Food Sovereignty Scholarship is made possible through a generous gift from Lifeline Produce of Victor, Montana.
