**The deadline dates are guidelines and all tasks can be completed earlier.
Step 1: Download and review the Spring 2012 Proposal instructions and application. Before the March 29th deadline, complete the application and print it to obtain required signatures. Please see the list of project ideas that have already been identified by students and building managers.
Step 2: Before completing the application, make an appointment with the ASUM Sustainability Coordinator to discuss your project proposal. The ASUM Sustainability Coordinator will help you develop your idea and make the necessary building manager contact. The ASUM Sustainability Coordinator can be reached at 243-4856 or email@example.com.
Step 3: Develop draft proposal and share with ASUM Sustainability Coordinator by March 29, 2012 When you receive your proposal back from the ASUM Sustainability Coordinator, incorporate any feedback into your final proposal.
Step 4: Applicants are expected to work with the appropriate head of department or work unit head, such as a building manager, to develop projects and to obtain their approval signature. Unit heads and building managers should be given at least one week to review a draft of your proposal so there is time for them to give input, ask questions, and for you to give answers. Please meet with building manager and send them draft proposals by March 29, 2012.
Step 5: Applicants should follow-up with the building manager and ASUM Sustainability Coordinator by April 13, 2012 and make revisions to their proposals based on feedback from the building managers/unit heads and the ASUM Sustainability Coordinator.
Step 6: All final proposals should be submitted to the ASUM Sustainability Coordinator by April 20, 2012 with all appropriate signatures. Proposal with complete information submitted on or before the deadline will be reviewed and considered on an on-going basis.
Step 7: Proposals with complete information submitted by the deadline will be reviewed by KRELF Committee and they will make project approval decisions. Although the KRELF Committee will accept applications after April 20, 2012, we cannot guarantee they will be considered for KRELF funds this spring.
Step 8:KRELF Committee will meet to discuss all proposals submitted by April 20, 2012 and will notify all applicatants whether or not their proposal received funding.
Step 9: Project applicants and appropriate building managers and department heads will be notified in writing of the KRELF Committee decision by the KRELF Committee Chair or her/his designee.
