How to schedule a class

Montana Groundwater Academy will run programming in Fall 2016. If you are interested in participating in MGA programming in Fall 2016, please contact Agatha Podrasky, agatha.podrasky@umontana.edu

Information on participating in the MGA program

The MGA program runs over 3 days: 2 in-class lessons designed to run in typical ~50-minute class periods and a 1/2-day field trip to the MGA field site in Greenough Park, Missoula, MT. Participating teachers are also required to complete a program evaluation form and administer a short (15 minute) pre- and post- assessment on groundwater understanding to their students and submit the results to MGA. Approval for participation must be obtained from a school district administrator. For more information about the program, please see the Learning page.

MGA currently has funds to cover costs of participation (e.g., substitute teachers and buses). MGA staff will work with each school to set up the grant sub-award that will reimburse participating districts for program costs.
