The Office of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk offers training classes and workshops to increase the University of Montana (UM) affiliation's awareness on topics related to governance, risks, and controls. These sessions are available to employees across the UM affiliation and help participants effectively balance risks and controls.

Ethical Conduct and Fraud Prevention

Synopsis: This session covered several case studies of financial fraud across several industries. Talked about ethical blindspots, unconscious bias, understanding fraud and potential red flags for fraudulent behavior. Also from the presentation is a video from convicted fraudsters on how they rationalized their fraudulent behavior.
