Humphrey Fellows' First Presentation at Jeannette Rankin Peace Center

Two Humphrey Fellows, Meng Han and Rosario Carmona, pose at Mount Jumbo.The Office of International Programs’ English Language Institute would like to announce and invite you to the first in a series of four presentations given by two of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows at the Jeanette Rankin Peace Center on Thursday, May 29th, 5-7 pm. Meng Han, a photojournalist from China, and Rosario Carmona, a journalist from Mexico, will discuss issues surrounding media, political issues, and freedom of information. The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program offers Fellows valuable opportunities for leadership development and professional engagement with Americans and their counterparts from many nations. This year's Humphrey Fellow's consist of a collection of nationalities, ranging from Togo to Pakistan, and Armenia to Myanmar. These Fellows have come to Montana representing various professions, including agriculture, journalism, geophysics, urban development, education, and more. The event is free and open to the public.
