In December 2009, the CSFN and the University's NSF/EPSCoR funded interactive science center SpectrUM partnered to produce an exhibition that explores neuroscience.  The exhibition, The Brain: A World Inside Your Head, has been designed to help inspire the next generation of researchers and medical providers by providing a hands-on experience through six interactive exhibit areas that explore human brain anatomy and development, function, and disease.

This exhibit will be housed at the SpectrUM Discovery Area in the Skaggs Building from September 2010 – March 2011. Over 2,000 K-12 visitors are expected to participate in spectrUM’s field trip program. The exhibition will then travel from 2011-2013 to dozens of schools in underserved rural and tribal areas through SpectrUM’s Montana Science Experience Program.
