You've come to the right place. On this page you will accept your Merit Scholarship to the University of Montana. 

Your scholarship will be automatically renewed for up to four years for incoming freshmen (it may be fewer years for transfer students), provided you continue to meet the following conditions:

• Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA for the University of Montana Academic Achievement Scholarship (UMAAS) for residents and non-residents, and a 3.0 GPA for the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE).
• Be enrolled full time. This means 12 credits or more per semester. Please note that to complete a degree in the required time frame, most students must earn an average of 15 credits per semester.
• Be enrolled in consecutive terms (fall/spring). You are not required to enroll in summer, and these scholarships are not available for summer terms.

These scholarships are only available for your first bachelor’s degree and only apply to undergraduate tuition. They do not apply to Missoula College or Bitterroot College students, distance education students, or students wishing to establish Montana residency. These scholarships do not apply to courses offered through the School of Extended and Lifelong Learning (SELL).  

These scholarships are tuition designated and cannot exceed the cost of tuition when combined with other tuition designated awards including, but not limited to: some athletic awards, ROTC scholarships, tuition waivers, and veterans and military benefits.
