Dear Campus Community,

As I mentioned in my March 19 email, I have decided to reorganize the University’s administrative structure to ensure we align and emphasize our enrollment and communication efforts as well as our student success efforts. The search for the Vice President for Enrollment and Strategic Communications is now underway, and I invite you to share your input. The search committee, chaired by CIO Matt Riley, will hold listening sessions this week to collect your input regarding the position and the type of candidate you believe would best serve UM. The committee also has created an online feedback form for those who cannot attend the sessions in person.

Listening Sessions

Tuesday, May 1 – 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the UC Theater

Wednesday, May 2 – 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the UC Theater

Finalists will visit campus in late May and early June, after the conclusion of the semester. With this in mind, we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to share thoughts and concerns now, before the committee begins reviewing applications. This position and your input are crucial as we move forward.
