Dear Colleagues,

With graduation on the immediate horizon, my heart is full of gratitude for all you’ve contributed this past year. 

There’s plenty to celebrate as the academic year comes to a close. You’ve positively influenced our incredible graduates, you’ve applied your talent and expertise to immediate and enduring challenges faced by society, and you’ve helped build UM’s momentum toward responsible growth. These are tremendous accomplishments!

Congratulations to all of you. As we celebrate our graduates this weekend, know that their accomplishments are shared by each of you. What happens here at UM is remaking the world – through your and our graduates’ work. The Griz are strong, responsible, curious, formidable and creative.
