Stowers Named Student Leader in Public Health

Sheylee Stowers, an undergraduate student in the University of Montana (UM) School of Public and Community Health Sciences (SPCHS) Bachelor of Science in Public Health program, was recently honored with the Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center’s Student Leaders in Public Health award.  The $3,500 award will support Sheylee’s efforts contributing to the Advancing Vaccine Informatics, Communications, and Education (AdVICE) Team Science initiative, in collaboration with Dr. Sophia Newcomer, UM SPCHS associate professor.  Congratulations Sheylee!
