Griz Game Day Football Shuttles

There is almost nothing better than attending a college football game, especially when the Montana Grizzlies are playing. The roar of the crowd. The buzz of excitement that fills the air. Grizzly game days are some of the greatest days of the fall and winter seasons. That is until you start to think about parking on game day at the UM campus. That’s when game day can become a little stressful. Will you be able to find a spot? How much will you have to pay to park? What parking lots are open to park in? Do you need to leave the game early to avoid traffic? Luckily, all of these worries melt away if you take advantage of ASUM Transportation’s FREE GAME DAY SHUTTLES!  

In an effort to reduce congestion on campus during gameday, as well as provide a form of sustainable transportation for fans, UDASH offers three different game day routes to and from the Washington Grizzly Stadium.  

The South Campus Football shuttle runs from the Lewis and Clark Transfer Center to the Transit Hub on campus with stops at Dornblaser Field and along Arthur Ave. This route runs every 10 to 15 minutes. 

The Downtown Football shuttle services the several parking garages downtown and drops off at the footbridge located on Van Buren & Front. There are designated stops at Central Park on Ryman and Main and Park Place on Front and Pattee. From the drop-off location, it is just a short walk across the footbridge to get to the stadium. This route runs every 15 to 20 minutes.  

Lastly, the Missoula College Football shuttle picks up at the front entrance of the Missoula College and drops off at the footbridge located on Van Buren and Front. The Missoula College route averages run times between 15 and 20 minutes.  

All of our UDASH Football Shuttles begin running 2.5 hours before kickoff. That gives our patrons plenty of time to have some fun at the tailgates before heading inside the stadium and finding their seats to watch our beloved Griz Football team. After the game, shuttles will run for about an hour so all of our football fans can make it safely back to their vehicles! This allows you to avoid all of the traffic and parking worries that come with Griz gameday! And the best part of all...it is FREE to park your vehicle at any of the Park and Ride lots that the UDASH shuttles pick up from.  

So far this football season, Griz football fans have been loving the UDASH football shuttles! Last weekend, at the Brawl of the Wild game against Montana State, a record-breaking 1,811 people took advantage of our shuttles and got a free, stress-less ride to and from the game. UDASH Griz Game Day shuttles will continue to run for every home football game until the Griz are done playing at home for the season. So next time you are heading to Washington Grizzly Stadium to cheer on Griz Football, consider taking a UDASH football shuttle and make your game day a lot less stressful!
