Park & Ride Parking Pass

Spring semester is in full swing, and so are classes, events, and of course, parking! For those of you who bought a parking pass for the fall semester, those will expire on January 31st, 2024. So, it is time to think about all your parking pass options for this semester.

We know that parking can be a hassle here on campus. Spots fill up very quickly leaving you stuck driving around looking for parking, while inevitably making you late for class. Also, on-campus parking passes and daily parking fees are kind of expensive. We want to help make your life easier, and maybe even save you a couple of bucks in the process!

The Park & Ride parking pass is one of the best ways to park at the University of Montana. Not only is it much cheaper than an on-campus parking pass, but it is also almost guaranteed that you will never get stuck looking for a spot. It also allows you to take advantage of the UDASH transportation system that you already paid for with your student fees!

You can purchase a Park & Ride pass using the UM Parking Portal and register your vehicle using your license plate...no messing around with stickers or physical parking passes.  This pass is only $26 per semester!

With the Park & Ride pass, you will be able to park in the Park & Ride lots at Missoula College, Dornblaser, or the Lewis & Clark transfer center lot. From there, simply catch a ride with the UDASH buses that run along those routes. To see what route to ride from these lots and their schedules, please visit the ASUM Transportation bus page

If you have already bought your on-campus parking pass and would like to switch to a Park & Ride pass, no worries. The Parking Department will work with you to help change that pass over and issue you a refund for the difference in price! Simply head on down to the Parking Office across from the Washington-Grizzly Stadium and someone will help you out!

We hope that you will take advantage of the Park & Ride parking pass. It is a great way to de-stress your commute and save some money in the process. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at udash@umontana.edu or visit us in the ASUM Office on the first floor of the UC room 115!
