Alumni and Giving
Alumni of the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana work in service to society throughout Montana, the West, the nation and the world. Blewett School of Law graduates have served as the deans of law schools at USC, Duke, and New York University, as well as justices of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, federal district courts and the Montana Supreme Court. They also have been governors and attorneys general of Montana, members of Congress, Clerk of the United States Supreme Court and President of the American Bar Association.
Alumni generously support the School of Law with financial gifts and personal support – including mentoring and career guidance – for students and new graduates.
Alumni are encouraged to stay connected to the School of Law through alumni and reunion weekend, and other events around Montana and across the country. The Blewett School of Law also encourages alumni to subscribe to the Barrister E-Brief and to stay connected with updated contact and professional information.
