Collaborator Dr. Paulo Célio Alves’ recent visit to Raleigh

We’ve had a steady stream of research collaborators come to NCSU recently to visit with the Mills lab over the past four weeks. In March we were also lucky to host Dr. Paulo Célio Alves, our long-term collaborator from the Research Center in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources at the University of Porto in Portugal for one week.  During his visit Paulo assisted us with some ongoing and new research projects in coat-color phenology, worked to strengthen ties between NCSU and the University of Porto and also made plans with Scott for his own upcoming trip to Portugal in May.  Though it wasn’t Paulo’s first trip to Raleigh, we also had a great time showing him what the city has to offer.  We’ll look forward to his next visit soon!
