Degree Options
The Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Design program offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Students will achieve a level of proficiency in molecular and cellular pharmacology, basic and clinical pharmacokinetics, and medicinal chemistry. Students will then further specialize in their research area of interest by selecting from an extensive list of electives across campus. The Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Design program is a program within the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and is also closely aligned with several multidisciplinary research Centers and Institutes at the University of Montana. Graduates of the program will be highly skilled to pursue career opportunities in academia, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and governmental agencies.
