Education and Outreach
The UM Bird Ecology Lab’s Education and Outreach Program is multifaceted, ranging from traditional University of Montana field courses to teacher training workshops to summer programs for the general public. We currently collaborate with many local and regional partners to deliver a message to people of all ages and from all backgrounds to learn about the natural world around them. We aim to provide “experiential learning” for participants to be stewards of the environment as well as to offer a “birds-eye view” of our wildlife.
