Aber Hall

Built in 1967, Aber Hall was named after William M. "Daddy" Aber. Considered UM's most beloved professor, William Aber was a member of the University's original five-person faculty.

Originally Aber Hall was an 11-story residence hall and was a twin to Jesse Hall. Today, floors 7-11 house students in traditional double rooms and floors 1-6 house student support administrative offices. This offers a unique living opportunity for students to have students services like the Office for Student Success, the Registrars Office, and Student Accounts to be right downstairs. Each floor is L-shaped and occupied by students of the same gender.

Aber Hall attracts students with a variety of interests in recreation, both intramural and outdoor activities. Located just outside the building are tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, and a volleyball court, which make Aber the perfect place for students interested in wellness and recreation.

The Grizzly Pool, Washington-Grizzly stadium, Campus Recreation, and trail head to the "M" are also nearby.

Included in each room are cable TV and high-speed Internet ports.
