Post Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (ppOTD)

Maintain a balance between life, work, and school while you earn your 100% online post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (ppOTD) degree from the University of Montana. The post-professional program advances currently practicing Occupational Therapists to the doctorate level. It was designed with you in mind. The contemporary online format engages you from virtually anywhere, when you are ready, on your schedule, on your own pace, and on a budget friendly tuition.

Our innovative, best-in-class curriculum is taught by nationally recognized clinical faculty and is strongly rooted in evidence-based practice. Plus, as one of UM’s ppOTD students, you will be connected to a diverse online community of experienced OT clinical professional peers. Throughout the comprehensive curriculum you will gain advanced critical thinking, professional knowledge, behavior, and skills to apply the science and art to your clinical practice. Program graduates are not only entitled to the doctorate designation but will be better prepared to become leaders in occupational therapy.

We offer both a master’s to OTD (30 credits) and a bachelor to OTD (41 credits) that fulfill the doctorate guidelines established by AOTA. Most students complete the program in 1-3 years. Learn more about the 100% online, budget-friendly program on the Rehab Essentials website.
