Urgent one-time appointments

When a student’s needs are pressing and it is not advisable to wait for a regular individual counseling appointment or an initial consultation appointment, we can schedule you for a single-session appointment with the counselor who is on-call for crisis appointments.  These are scheduled typically the same day or in some situations, the next day. Please call 406-243-4712 to inquire about these types of appointments or if you’re unable to get through, you can call the Medical Front Desk at 406-243-4330 and let them know you need a Crisis Counseling appointment.

After business hours, Montana's Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Lifeline, call 988.  Call 911 for emergencies or visit the Emergency Room at St. Patrick Hospital or Community Medical Center.
