Summer's here so be safer while you're hiking or outdooring it:

  1. It never hurts to bring a friend.
  2. Let people know where you'll be going and how long you'll be gone.
  3. Go to more public places where you're sure you'll see other people.
  4. Bring a whistle or sound-maker.
  5. Grab a can of bear spray or mace.

OR, travel to the outdoors with GUTS, a program where students help younger women participate in empowering outdoor trips!

Remember to stay safe at summer parties too, by keeping track of your drinks, avoiding drinks you don't know what they are or where they came from, and keeping sex sober.
