  1. The Native American Research Laboratory (NARL) at The University of Montana seeks a part-time or full-time laboratory manager/technician. Qualified applicants will possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in molecular biology or biochemistry or a related field of study and have at least 2 years of laboratory experience. Strong organizational skills are required.

  2. The Native American Research Laboratory (NARL) at The University of Montana seeks a Post-Doctoral Scholar to facilitate work on a newly-funded project.  The position requires experience with constructing fusion protein plasmids, expressing proteins from a prokaryotic overexpression system and purifying proteins using a fast-perfusion liquid chromatography system (FPLC).   The successful applicant will have strong organizational skills and must be able to carry-out a line of experimentation, which has been thoroughly described in project proposal, with limited  supervision.

  3. The Native American Research Laboratory (NARL) at The University of Montana seeks workstudy students to work as laboratory aides in support of ongoing research efforts. The successful applicant must be reliable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule on a semester-by-semester basis.  All applicants must be eligible for federal workstudy.
