Environmental Health & Risk Management
The University of Montana
First of all, the University of Montana (UM), as part of the Montana University System (MUS), want all UM employees to arrive safely at work, to be able to perform one’s respective job duties in asafe manner and in a safe environment, and then to be able to return home safely.
However, sometimes there occurs an event such that the employee is injured on the job, or after several months there’s an increase in pain in a muscle or joint that may be linked to some repetitive task performed at work over time.
Know that you are not alone. There is a step by step quick instruction sheet that is designed to quickly assist you and your supervisor to take prompt action.
If you have any questions or comments about the UM Workers Compensation program contact Mike Panisko at mike.panisko@mso.umt.edu or call at 243-2842 or 544-6121.
