Learning strategies for Higher Education

Instructors Janet Zupan and Heather Hibbard teach this valuable, two-credit course each fall and spring semester, which is tuition-free for TRIO SSS students.

This class encourages and guides you toward a more self-generated and active approach to learning. You will have an opportunity to observe your current learning strengths, to consider and try new strategies and to devote class time to making progress with your classes. Topics include Time Management, Mindset, Memory Principles, Textbook Reading, Stress Management and Test Taking Skills. Get your best start in college by learning and using tools that allow for better organization, comprehension and success.
