Creating Better Lives for People with Disabilities in Rural Areas
The Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities is striving to improve the independence and participation of people with disabilities in everyday activities and all aspects of their rural communities through innovative services, training and research. Students can participate as research assistants or in program support gaining hands-on knowledge of family development in the context of disabilities.
Thriving Children and Families Throughout Montana
The Center for Children, Families and Workforce Development offers engaging and effective resources for parents and families, innovative targeted professional development, programs that serve children and families, public policy development, current scientific knowledge, and tailored support to groups, nonprofits and government agencies in creation of evaluation, data analysis, research dissemination and/or implementing data-driven programming.
Dig Deep and Provide Assistance
The Research and Training Center on Disability in Rural Communities conducts research, develops technical training and supports disability service providers throughout the rural U.S. Students can become research assistants, provide program support or deliver presentations as part of our ongoing work in rural areas.
