Campus Preparedness Response Group (CPRG)

The Campus Preparedness Response Group (CPRG) was originally established on February 17, 2015, by President Royce Engstrom as part of the ongoing commitment of the University to protect our students, faculty, staff, and visitors, along with intellectual property and facilities. The EMAC is responsible for maintaining the Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) and assisting UM administration in accomplishing one of their primary responsibilities: Protecting the lives and property of our campus community.

The official committee charge:

The Campus Preparedness Response Group (CPRG) is a standing committee appointed by the President and tasked with continued review and implementation of the University of Montana Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) as appropriate. The committee will also be responsible for the oversight of the development, implementation, and revision of the Emergency Action Plans for the individual buildings on Campus. The EMAC will guide the implementation of the EOP and make recommendations to the President for revisions in the EOP as it is expected that the plan will need to change over time. The EMAC will be chaired by the Emergency Manager, UM Police Department Chief. The committee will meet at least quarterly.
