Where did you attend college?

The University of Montana - Missoula.

Have you pursued any post-graduate training?

Not yet, but it's always a possibility!

What brought you to Montana?

I was born and raised in a small town between Billings and Red Lodge and have had family in Missoula my whole life. When it was time to choose a place to stay, it wasn't a hard decision.

Why did you choose to be part of the Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana?

Rural Montana and the health care available to rural Montanans has always been very important to me. My family was lucky to have good health care choices close by - in Billings and Red Lodge. The care that my grandmother, in particular, received was inspiring. Every rural Montanan deserves great health care, and being able to help facilitate positive change is a very exciting prospect!

What are your interests outside the University and FMRWM?

Books, volleyball, spending time with my family, baking, cooking, skiing, hiking and gardening.

What do you love about Western Montana?

The clean, fresh air and the views are awesome. The people are even more amazing - diverse in culture and thought with the ability to create community.

What’s your favorite book?

The Life of Pi, the Outlander series, Water for Elephants, My Sister's Keeper, The Shadow of the Wind, I Know This Much is True, The Red Tent.
