Jessica Tripp

Administrative Manager

Where did you attend college?  Jess Tripp

I have a BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Montana.

What brought you to Montana?

I was born in Bozeman and lived most of my childhood in Montana. I moved to Eagle River, AK when I was in high school and always wanted to come back to Montana. It was an easy choice to come back to Montana for college and have since stayed and love it!

Why did you choose to be part of the Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana?

I was looking for something new and exciting. A good friend works for the WWAMI program and always tells me how much she loves her job. When the opportunity came open to work for FMRWM I could not turn it down. I love the mission and I love knowing I can be part of something that is changing rural healthcare and healthcare in general.

What are your interests outside the University and FMRWM?

I have two beautiful children and a wonderful husband to whom I devote most of my time. I enjoy hanging out with my family. I coach soccer and baseball for my son. I love snowboarding in the winter and being on the water in the summer. If I can find a spare minute, I enjoy reading a good book.

What do you love about Western Montana?

The scenery and the people. I truly believe we have the nicest people in the country and the pace of life is perfect. I sometimes have to remind myself that not everyone gets to live in such a beautiful place.

What's your favorite book?

I love books about history and anything by Nicholas Sparks. I am a sucker for a sappy book!
