Roger's experience in GLI

My Beyond the Classroom Experience was an Internship for Tahoe City Public Utility District in California. My Global Challenge was determining how to effectively educate kids and adults about the importance of the environment in Lake Tahoe. 

Going through this experience, I realized that building a community and better life for everyone is a win-win situation. Solving problems in community builds trust, reliability, and good relationships. Let's all do our best to seek understanding and make positive differences, no matter how big or how small!

I'm now working on my capstone project, which is focused on the issue of the linear economy. We are implementing a community bin project that meets the needs of users on the University of Montana campus.
