Camryn Vaughn
Camryn Vaughn double-majored in Russian and Political Science, which sparked her interest in her Beyond the Classroom Experience of studying abroad in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. In her Capstone year, Camryn and her team developed a project that tackled access to international education.
Currently, Camryn works at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an International Relations Specialist, where she supports international partnerships across the university's campus. Here's what she had to say about being a Franke Fellow:
"My Franke GLI Capstone was based on making international education more accessible in higher education, which resulted in a lot of research about different types of student mobility. Now, I support international visits and agreements that make student mobility possible at UW-Madison."
Camryn's experience with the GLI inspired her to pursue a career where she could support students in their international endeavors.
