Global Leadership Seminars

The Franke GLI seeks proposals from faculty to develop new or modify existing courses as 3-credit, first-year seminars (capped at 25 students) focused on one or more of GLI’s Global Themes.

Proposals should include multidisciplinary approaches to global challenges, and preference may be given to classes where students work in teams or are actively engaged in project-based learning. Proposals need to focus on one or more of the GLI Global Themes, and should include intercultural or international perspectives.

For an idea of what these seminars may look like, you can review the current and past seminar offerings.

Seminars will be taught in the GLI classroom, MLIB 417, on the 4th Floor of the Mansfield Library.

Information session

A session to answer questions will be held on in October. Details and the Zoom link are forthcoming.

If you are not able to attend and would like to meet with a member of the Franke GLI Oversight Board to discuss your proposal, please contact Gillian Glaes at gillian.glaes@mso.umt.edu to arrange a meeting.
