Overview

Overburdened K-12 school professionals have scrambled to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic with little resources, knowledge, or support.  This micro-credential will provide schools with the foundational knowledge in public health policies and procedures and COVID-19 associated mitigation measures so that each school in Montana can operate as safely as possible and with the least disruption to student learning.

Earners of this micro-credential will successfully complete seven modules which will introduce them to the fundamental knowledge necessary to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, including modules targeted to achieve a basic understanding of public health, epidemiology, contact tracing, privacy laws, COVID-19 mitigation, communication, and mental health resiliency.

Modules

  1. Introduction to Public Health
  2. Introduction to Epidemiology
  3. Certified Contact Tracing Course
  4. Information Sharing: HIPAA and FERPA for Schools
  5. COVID Mitigation
