We will carpool as much as is feasible to a pullout where we will get our equipment and then begin the pick up in pairs  along the road. With 8 people we can cover the area from mile marker 8 through 12. As of March 7, we have a dozen volunteers! Please contact us if you are interested in joining the group at retirees@umontana.edu.

Once the date is finalized, we will announce it on our site along with a reservation button as the number of visitors will be limited.

A UM alumnus suggested that we visit the Holt Heritage Museum, a private museum on Highway 12 in Lolo dedicated to artifacts and memorabilia from Montana history. We have contacted the museum about the possibility of a tour this coming spring 2021. Stay tuned.
