Alexis Gibson, Director

Alexis Gibson joined the Office of Undergraduate Research in May 2022 as founding director. Alexis earned her BA in biology and PhD in Forestry and Conservation, both from the University of Montana, where she also completed a postdoctoral fellowship and served as field education coordinator of UM's Department of Ecosystem and Conservation Sciences. Most recently, she served as program director for the Society for Ecological Restoration.
