The Office of the Vice President for Research and Development

The Office of the Vice President for Research and Development (VPRD) is responsible for all university-wide externally-generated grants and contracts, and research-related compliance.  VPRD staff provide administrative leadership in supporting the University's mission for enhancement of research and economic development through technology transfer, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and federal relations.

In addition to the Centers and Institutes that report directly to the vice president for research, sponsored funding supports a variety of research-related Projects, Centers, and Institutes across campus, as well as undergraduate and graduate opportunities.
